The Beers & Cider of the Festival awards are voted for by the visitors to the Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year we have a joint winner for “Beer of Sundfest 2019”<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st (Joint): Naylor’s<\/a> (Cross Hills W.York’s) “Toffee Mild”<\/strong> 4 .2% A rich dark mild made with black and chocolate malts. Black treacle to give a toffee aroma and sweetness<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st (Joint): North Riding<\/a> (Scarborough) “Rum & Raisin Dark Mild<\/strong>” 4.3 % A dark mild with a twist; brewed with five different malts and English hops. Ice cream flavours!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd: Geeves<\/a> (Barnsley) “Smokey Joe<\/strong>” 5% A rich bold stout with coffee\/dark chocolate flavors and smokiness. A combination of hops gives a spicy oaky finish<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cider of the Festival is:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harleston Cider<\/a> (Waveney Valley, Norfolk) “Ciderlite<\/strong>” 4% Medium Easy drinking, refreshing, session cider<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
