2026 Beer and Cider Festival – Update

It’s only 7 weeks until our CAMRA@East Boldon event. Thursday 5th – Saturday 7th November

This will be the fourth time Sunderland & South Tyneside CAMRA have held their annual beer festival in the function room at the rear of Beggars Bridge Pub & Kitchen in East Bolden. This modern building with excellent disabled access is only metres away from East Boldon Metro Station & the excellent transport it provides.

This year we’ve moved the event back from the September dates of the last three years to the traditional October/November dates of our pre-COVID festivals.

Our small beer & cider festival continues to concentrate on serving beers & ciders unusual to the area.

  • Saturday is music day & features several local artists.
  • The Beer & Cider lists plus the Music listing (For Saturday 7th) will be available on the festival website two weeks prior to the festival.
  • The pub’s food menu is available upto 19.30 on the Thursday & 18.30 on Friday & Saturday (Order from the pub’s bar).
  • Meals can either be eaten in the bar area or delivered to your table in the festival area.
  • Access to the beer garden for beer festival attendees is available throughout the event.

Like all CAMRA festivals nationally entry is now free to CAMRA members & £5 a day to non-CAMRA members. This extra member’s perk makes it well worth considering joining CAMRA if you’re planning to attend.
